It all began in 1994,when Amy Lee and Ben Moody met at a camp in Little Rock, Arkansas, in the USA. Ben and Amy like the same kind of music,and they decided to start a band in the late 90s.
They launched their first record in 1999 and released a few songs to the local radio station,which soon became very popular.
Evanescene was not a famous band from the beginning.But in Febraury 2000,they released 2 singles 'Bring me to life' and 'My Immortal', which appeared on the sountrack for the film 'Daredevil ' ;they both became hits and topped the charts at that time.This was the beggining of success for the band.
In March 2003, Evanscene released their album 'Fallen',which sold over 2.5 million copies in USA in only 7 months and reached number 1 in the UK charts.It sold over 10 million copies all over the world.
Evanscene si now one of the msot successful bands off all time.They write from the heart and their music is sure to last for many years to come.
