Weddings in Romania are extravagant. People get together at a restaurant, where they celebrate the newlyweds, they eat traditional food and they dance on traditional music. We have a lot of traditions for weddings, at midnight, somebody "steals" the bride. The groom usually gives money or alcohol to the people who stole his wife, to get her back. Another tradition is the throwing of the bouquet. The women at the party get together and try to catch the brides bouquet. It's said that whoever catches it, is the next to get married.
Romanian people are fun when it comes to weddings.
