Get into groups. What did David's parents use to tell him (not) to do when he was little to keep him out of danger? Did your parents use to tell you similar things?

When he was little David's parents used to tell him to "be careful" , "don't go out of the neighbourhood" and "don't take your new bike into the park". When I was little my parents told me to be careful and to stay in the neighbourhood but they would let me take my new bike and my new toys into the park.
